OCBC FD Promotion Q4 2026: Rates Rise to 3.85%, Bundle Still Doesn't Pay
OCBC just rolled its FD-i campaign into a new quarter. Our own 8 August piece covered it at 3.70%–3.75% standalone and 4.28% on the Wealth Bundle. All three rates are up for Q4 — but the bundle’s math still doesn’t favour most savers.
What changed for Q4?
- Minimum deposit stays RM10,000, capped at RM300,000 — unchanged from last quarter.
- Fresh funds only — new money must land within seven days of placing the FD.
- The campaign runs 1 October to 31 December, a fresh three-month cycle.
Is the 4.38% Wealth Bundle worth it?
- The bundle needs RM100,000 in eligible unit trusts or structured investments, matched 1:1 with the FD.
- The sales charge is guaranteed on purchase — the wealth product’s own return isn’t.
How does 3.85% compare this quarter?
- Premier and Privilege-gated rates still pay more than any open-to-all promo this quarter.
- Public Bank, Al Rajhi and AmBank stay open to anyone — no relationship needed.
- OCBC’s standalone rate needs neither — just fresh funds, no tier at all.

- Your maturity dateThe FD auto-renews at OCBC’s board rate, not the promo one — mark your calendar.
- Early Jan 2027Expect OCBC’s next quarterly cycle — rates have risen two quarters running.
