Not financial advice. Prices update automatically (US real-time; Bursa & HK ~15 min delayed). “Heat” reflects trading activity, not a buy recommendation. Trending stocks Malaysia — FAQ
The most actively-traded Bursa Malaysia stocks currently include Zetrix AI, Tenaga Nasional, Press Metal, Maybank, Inari, CIMB, Public Bank and YTL Corp, alongside semiconductor names like MPI, Unisem and ViTrox. The live heat list above ranks them by trading activity and updates every few seconds.
Use the heat list above and switch to the 'MY Stocks' tab. It ranks Bursa Malaysia counters by a live 'heat' score built from trading turnover (the ringgit value traded), share volume and price activity, so the busiest, most-actively-traded stocks float to the top. You can also sort by % change, volume or market cap. Bursa prices are about 15 minutes delayed under free market-data rules.
The most active US stocks are led by AI and semiconductor names such as NVIDIA, Broadcom, Micron, Marvell and Intel, alongside Tesla, Apple, Amazon and high-momentum plays in quantum computing, nuclear (SMR) and crypto-mining. Switch to the 'USA Stocks' tab for the live ranking.
The heat list pulls quotes from Yahoo Finance and auto-refreshes every few seconds. US prices are real-time; Bursa Malaysia and Hong Kong prices are about 15 minutes delayed (a free market-data limitation). 'Heat' is a relative score combining trading turnover, volume, price activity and — for US stocks — social buzz, so a higher score means a stock is busier and more talked-about than its peers, not that it is a buy.
Heat is a 0–100 score, moomoo-style, that blends four signals into a single number: dollar turnover (how much money is changing hands), share volume, price activity — the size of the move that session — and, for US stocks, social buzz across major retail-investor communities. How we weight and tune those signals is our own proprietary recipe. Bursa Malaysia and Hong Kong stocks score on turnover, volume and price activity. It is a quick way to spot which stocks the market and retail investors are most focused on right now — a measure of activity and attention, not a recommendation or a price target.
The news panel above pulls live headlines from The Star, The Edge, New Straits Times, Bernama and Free Malaysia Today for Malaysia, and CNBC, Reuters, MarketWatch and Yahoo Finance for global markets — each links straight to the source. It refreshes automatically so you always see the most recent market-moving stories.
Yes. Rates.my is completely free and needs no sign-up. The heat list, market index ticker and news feed are all open to everyone. We are an independent Malaysian information site, not a broker — and any position Rates.my holds is publicly disclosed on our Smart Money page. For full disclosure: the broker sign-up link on this page is a referral link that may earn us a reward if you open and fund an account. It costs you nothing extra, it never influences which stocks appear or how they rank, and no broker can pay to be listed.
