Harga petrol Malaysia dikemaskini setiap minggu pada hari Rabu atau Khamis, berkuatkuasa pada hari Sabtu. Mekanisme ini dikenali sebagai Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).
What is the difference between RON95 and RON97?
RON95 is a subsidised fuel suitable for most cars. RON97 is a premium fuel that is better for high-performance engines. RON97 follows the weekly float price while RON95 is fixed by the government subsidy.
Is RON95 still subsidised for everyone?
As of 2024, the government has introduced targeted subsidy for RON95. Only qualifying Malaysian citizens (based on income) continue to receive the subsidised rate. Higher income earners pay market price.
