4.08%, no wealth tier
Alliance Bank's Sri Petaling FD Promo Is Back at 4.08% - No Wealth Tier Needed This Time
Alliance Bank’s Sri Petaling branch had an FD promo running since April — and it just changed shape. The 4.38% Term Deposit-i that needed a Privilege or Personal relationship ended 31 October. From 1 November, the same branch sells a plain Fixed Deposit at 4.08% p.a., open to any new customer.
A different product, not just a new rate
- 4.08% p.a. for 6 months — open to any new customer, no Privilege or Personal tier required this time.
- A conventional FD, not Islamic — the old cycle’s Term Deposit-i and its 3.98%/4.38% tiers are gone.
- Still over the counter only, Sri Petaling branch, RM10,000 to RM500,000, fresh funds within 7 days.
4.08% vs Alliance’s own board rate
- 4.08% beats the 2.40% board rate for the same tenure by 1.68 percentage points.
- The deal ends 31 December 2026, or once the branch’s RM200 million threshold is hit — whichever comes first.

What to watch
- 31 Dec 2026The campaign’s scheduled end, unless Alliance extends it again.
- RM200 millionThe branch-wide threshold that can close the offer earlier than that date.
- Your maturity dateThe FD renews at Alliance’s 2.40% board rate, not the 4.08% promo rate.
