Petrol Prices Fall Again, RON97 Down to RM5.10 for 15-21 October 2026
Petrol got cheaper again this week. RON97 fell 5 sen to RM5.10 and diesel dropped 10 sen to RM5.17 for 15-21 October 2026 — the second weekly drop in three weeks. Subsidised BUDI95 stays frozen at RM1.99.
Two sen-moves, one zig-zag
- RON97's first fall since 8 October, when it had jumped the most of any grade that week.
- Diesel's lowest level since 17 September, before this autumn's run-up began.
- Three of the four tracked prices moved — only the subsidised BUDI95 rate stayed put.
What you actually pay
- BUDI95 is capped by MyKad, not by the weekly float — this week's cut never reaches most drivers' bills.
- Both diesel subsidy schemes held flat — East Malaysia and the Peninsula's Budi Diesel are untouched this cycle.
