UOB FD Promotion 2026: 4.10% p.a. — But Only If You've Never Banked With UOB
UOB just launched a fixed deposit promo — up to 4.10% per annum for six months, one of the best rates around. But there's a catch bigger than any tier: you must have never banked with UOB before.

Three tiers, one closed door
- A RM10,000 minimum applies to every tier — maximum placement ranges from RM100,000 to RM350,000.
- Funds must be new — moved in from another bank within 7 business days, not recycled inside UOB.
- Placements must be made at a branch — internet banking and self-service branches don't qualify.
Who actually gets locked out
- A new CASA account is required too — FD-only sign-ups don't qualify for the campaign rate.
- RM10,000 must stay in that CASA throughout the campaign, or UOB can cut the rate to board level.
- Existing UOB customers get nothing from this campaign — it was never open to them, whatever they deposit.

What to watch
- 30 Sep 2026Campaign period ends — or earlier, if the RM300 million fund limit is reached first.
- 7 Oct 2026Last day UOB will accept a Campaign Placement — one week's grace after the campaign itself ends.
- Your maturity dateThe FD Plus rolls over at UOB's board rate, not the campaign rate, even if the campaign is still running.
