The week at a glance
- Wednesday sets your petrol price. New RON95, RON97 and diesel rates start the next day.
- US data lands the same evening. Q2 GDP and PCE inflation post alongside the petrol price announcement.
Bursa: 13 stocks go ex-dividend this week
- LPI Capital is the standout, off-chart. A 65 sen special plus 25 sen interim dividend goes ex Friday.
- Sunway REIT leads the regular payouts. Its income distribution goes ex Thursday, alongside four other counters.
Three FD promos end 31 August. Bank Negara held the OPR at 2.75% in July and meets next on 3 September, so board rates stay put through this week. But Affin's eFD/branch Smart Pricing, Alliance's Bangsar FD and AmBank's AmOnline eFD promo cycles all close the Monday right after. Compare today's FD rates before they lapse.
