RaymondRates.my2 min read

Petrol got cheaper for a third week in a row. RON97 fell 20 sen to RM4.70 and diesel dropped 15 sen to RM5.12 for 5-11 November 2026 — the same Brent crude crash that hit Hengyuan’s shares this week.

RON97 peaked on 8 October, diesel jumped back up on 29 October — both have now fallen for three straight weeks.
  • RON97’s third straight fall — from an 8 October peak of RM5.15 to RM4.70, a 45-sen round trip.
  • Diesel’s cheapest since 17 September, before this autumn’s run-up even began.

Why it turned

  • MOF cited cheaper Brent crude and fuller Singapore fuel stocks — the same crash that hit Hengyuan’s shares this week.
  • Subsidised RON95 and Budi Diesel are untouched — BUDI95 stays frozen at RM1.99 a litre.

What you actually pay

The Finance Ministry’s own statement said the regional market was “showing signs of moderation” on fuller Singapore refined-fuel stocks and the Brent drop at the end of the pricing window — the same oil move behind this week’s Hengyuan share price fall.
