Butterfield FB, the coffee and tea powder maker, lists on the ACE Market on 15 September. Days before its debut, retail investors piled into its IPO and its books showed a first profit as a nearly-public company.

  • Every other tranche was fully taken up too — shares for directors, staff and two private-placement tranches all cleared.

  • Malaysia supplied 57.6% of the RM69.7 million quarterly revenue, Thailand another 30.7%.
