3.83% vs 3.88% — the catch
Bank Muamalat FD Promotion 2026: 3.83% PIDM-Protected vs 3.88% That Isn't — Which Elevate Campaign Tier Wins?
Bank Muamalat's Elevate Campaign runs 1 August to 31 December 2026, paying up to 3.83% per annum on a PIDM-protected 12-month deposit — or 3.88% on an uninsured investment account. Both need a branch visit and fresh funds only.

FTA-i or TIA-i: the 0.05-point gap
- FTA-i's 12-month base rate is 3.70%, PIDM-protected up to RM250,000 per depositor.
- TIA-i pays 3.75% instead — a Shariah investment account, not a deposit, with no PIDM cover.
- Both need a branch counter and RM5,000 of fresh funds — no online or existing-balance placements qualify.
The Affluent tiers, and the fine print
- Premature withdrawal isn't allowed — break the placement early and you lose your place in the Campaign entirely.
- Renewal reverts to Bank Muamalat's board rate, not the campaign rate, once the term ends.
- Nine months out-earns the twelve-month base tier — check both before you lock in a year.

What to watch
- 31 Dec 2026The Elevate Campaign ends — no word yet on a follow-on cycle into 2027.
- Your maturity datePlacements revert to Bank Muamalat's board rate on renewal, not the Elevate Campaign rate.
- Before you applyConfirm whether you're opening FTA-i or TIA-i at the counter — one is insured, the other pays an "expected," not guaranteed, profit for 0.05 points more.
