Thursday: Bursa's busiest day, and a deposit deadline
| Campaign | Rate | Ends |
|---|---|---|
| CIMB eFD/-i | up to 3.90% p.a. | Thu 12 Nov |
| CIMB TIA-i | up to 4.10% p.a. | Thu 12 Nov |
- CIMB's deposit campaigns close Thursday. eFD-i pays up to 3.90%, TIA-i up to 4.10% — both one-cycle rates that revert after.
- Renewal is the likely outcome. CIMB has rolled this cycle forward three times already since September.
OPR is settled for the year — deposit promos aren't. Bank Negara held the OPR at 2.75% at its final 2026 meeting on 5 November — a week before this one — and won't meet again until 21 January 2027. Board rates stay anchored, but the promotional codes layered on top don't: two of CIMB's end Thursday. Compare today's FD rates before they do.
