The week at a glance
- Bank Negara decides Thursday, 3pm. The OPR has held at 2.75% since July's meeting.
- New petrol prices start the same day. 12.01am Thursday, set by Wednesday's announcement.
Last week's float round-tripped back to a familiar price — see how RON95 got back to RM3.82.
Bursa: 14 stocks go ex-dividend this week
- Nestle is the standout, off-chart. An 80 sen interim dividend goes ex Wednesday — more than ten times the next payout.
- Telekom Malaysia leads the regular chart. Its 7 sen dividend edges out Petronas Chemicals' 6 sen, both going ex Friday.
Five FD promos end Monday. Bank Negara meets Thursday with the OPR unchanged since July, so board rates don't move this week. But Affin's eFD/branch Smart Pricing, Alliance's Bangsar FD, AmBank's AmOnline eFD, RHB's 7 & 9-month campaign and OCBC's FD-i promo all end Monday — the first day of this week, not the last.
