Pixlr Filed for a Bursa Malaysia IPO — Here's What We Actually Know

RaymondRates.my4 min read

Pixlr — the free photo editor many people already have open in a browser tab — is trying to list on Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market. Its parent, Pixlr Group Berhad, filed a draft prospectus in July. Here is what is actually confirmed, and what is still just a filing.

  • Retail investors get 51.25 million shares in the public balloting — under a fifth of the total offer.
  • 92 million shares are existing stock being sold, not new capital raised for the company.

  • Profit grew faster than sales — up 20.97% against 18.72% revenue growth, the filing shows.
  • Subscriptions drove nearly all the growth, the prospectus says, not one-off licence sales.

Bursa Malaysia’s own definition: a prospectus exposure is published to gather public comment before it is registered — it cannot yet be used to sell shares.
  • Pixlr is still two regulatory steps from a listing date — pricing and registration come first.
  • No IPO price or listing date exists yet — anything more specific you read elsewhere is a guess.
