Note: PB’s RM5,000 minimum is higher than Maybank and CIMB (RM1,000). For smaller amounts, consider those alternatives.

PIDM Protection
Protected up to RM250,000 per depositor. PB also has one of the lowest NPL ratios among Malaysian banks.
Early Withdrawal
Premature withdrawal forfeits all interest. No partial withdrawal — you must close the entire FD certificate.
